There’s one moment that still feels like magic: an idea – a few digital lines and sketches – suddenly becomes something real, something you can hold in your hands. That fascination has stayed with me ever since.
I founded Herzstücke (German for ‘centrepieces’ – literally ‘heart pieces’) because, to me, modern technology and design made with love belong together. Every piece that leaves my printer is made with care and an eye for detail – and with the joy of making your home a little more beautiful, or your everyday life a little easier.
To me, 3D printing isn’t an anonymous industrial process – it’s a modern craft. And every Herzstück carries a little of that passion.

How a custom order works
From first idea to finished piece – in three steps.
- Timing
- As a rule, around 1–2 weeks once we’ve finalised the design – depending on size and complexity.

Send your idea
Tell me what you have in mind. A rough idea, a sketch or a photo is plenty.

Discuss & design
Together we work out the details: size, colour, shape. I create the design and check every step with you until everything is just right.

Print & delivery
Once you’re happy with the design, your piece goes to print – and is then carefully packed and sent to you.

Materials, timing, personal touches and care – the essentials at a glance.
What material do you use?
I mainly print with PLA, a high-quality plant-based plastic made from corn starch that is sturdy and durable. If you have special requirements, other materials are available on request.
How long does a custom order take?
It depends on size and complexity. As a rule, allow around 1–2 weeks once we’ve finalised the design. I’ll gladly give you an exact timeframe as soon as you enquire.
Can I choose the colours and sizes?
Yes – that’s exactly what makes a piece special. For custom orders, we agree on colour, size and details to suit your wishes, within what’s technically possible.
Are the pieces easy to care for?
Yes. A damp cloth is all you need to clean them. Just avoid direct heat – for example in the dishwasher or from strong sunlight over long periods – so you can enjoy your piece for a long time.
